Model Operation
ChoicePoint Claims Solutions’ operational capabilities provide a robust scoring environment that allows you to leverage predictive technology quickly. Our system can operate on data from a variety of sources, which allows it to be integrated into your existing information technology (IT) infrastructure. It is usually hosted at ChoicePoint but can be installed on-site or in a third-party operations center depending on the customer's demands.
Our technical staff will work with you to design and set up the linkages into your operational systems. Installations require minimal internal IT staff effort and can be completed within weeks in many situations. The advantages of our operational technology include:
- Data shaping library. Using a library approach allows ChoicePoint to support any extraction, transformation and load requirements quickly. The generated code is fast and efficient.
- Use models without recoding. Any model written in PMML can be loaded without programming. Other tools typically require IT staff to reprogram operational systems in order to get acceptable performance.
- Fast processing. For batch processing, terabytes of data can be processed at thousands of transactions per second, allowing clients to complete jobs in required timeframes (e.g., overnight). For real-time processing, ChoicePoint can incorporate new data and provide real-time results in under 25ms.
- Minimal configuration requirements. The technology is designed to be integrated into existing infrastructures quickly and effectively; typically configurations require only a database integration.
