ChoicePoint® Passes Leadership Reins in Insurance Services

ALPHARETTA, Ga. - October 20, 2006 - ChoicePoint today announced a change in leadership in its Insurance Services division. Bill S. Madison, who previously served as vice president of sales for ChoicePoint's Insurance Data Services group, has been named to succeed Richard Collier, senior vice president and general manager of Insurance Data Services, who retired on September 30.

Collier joined the company in 1973 and, over a 33-year career, he helped Insurance Data Services grow from a start-up to a market leader.

"Richard's leadership and knowledge helped ChoicePoint compete in the complex insurance market and maintain a leadership position in our industry," said Jeffrey Glazer, executive vice president of ChoicePoint's Insurance Services business. "We are proud of all he accomplished for the company, and the positive effect he has had on our business, our customers and our associates. His retirement is well-deserved and we wish him all the best as he spends more time with his family."

Madison, who will report to Glazer, was responsible for Insurance Data Services. In his expanded role, he will take on responsibility for strategy, product development and support, and business development.

"Bill has been a catalyst for growth for our insurance business," Glazer said. "Our sales force and our customers appreciate the thoroughness and expertise he brings to our products and services."

No changes in management have been made in either the Insurity software and services group or in ChoicePoint's fraud claim and analytics group.

In addition to Insurance Data Services, ChoicePoint's Insurance Services division includes the claims, fraud and analytics, and Insurity business groups, led by Tony Reisz, vice president and general manager. These groups are expanding offerings and capabilities for customers with the 2006 acquisitions of Steel Card and ePolicy and a recent partnership created this summer with Microsoft to advance insurance software and services.
