Raleigh Police Department Report RequestThe Raleigh Police Department utilizes a report number format of the letter P+YR+6 digits. Their records department searches for reports using the report number, date and location of loss, and the name of an involved party. Including as much information on your report request as you have available (such as additional parties involved in the accident or incident, SSN, vehicle information, etc.) will help in locating your report. Raleigh Police Department ReportReport types available through OrderPoint®The majority of reports ordered through OrderPoint are Auto Accident reports, and the screen for ordering such reports is visible when you initially log in to the site. However, please remember there are numerous other report types available to you. Please note that some police agencies may not return your report if you order with the incorrect report type. Ordering with the incorrect report type can often cause delays in receiving the report and sometimes result in No Record Found responses from the police agencies. Many traffic departments work solely with auto accident reports. However, other types of police reports (such as auto theft, vandalism, fire reports, etc.) could be stored at a different police department or location. When placing an order through OrderPoint, it is important that the correct report type is selected when ordering reports to ensure ChoicePoint® can route your request to the correct department. You may also have access to Interactive reports, which are made available immediately upon placing your order. Please remember to select the proper report type when completing your report request.
