When the Sacramento Police Department responds to a vehicular accident in their jurisdiction, they often issue the parties involved in the accident a report number that begins with the letter "T", indicating this is a temporary report number given at the accident scene. The police officer will obtain the permanent accident report number later and will contact the drivers with the report number when available.

To help expedite receiving your report from the Sacramento PD, please remember to obtain the permanent report number from your insured when available.

The following information is helpful in order to search for an accident or incident report from the Virginia Beach Police Department: Report number, date of birth and driver's license number of the party involved, vehicle plate number, and VIN. Prince William County Police Department

The Prince William County Police Department requires the case number and either the driver's license number or full name of the involved party(ies) as well as the date of birth. The Prince William Police Department's report numbers are: YR + 6 Digits.
